The ATDML Design Team - 2015 Edition!

Meet The 2015 ATDML Design Team

**Ann Freeman**

My name is Ann Freeman and I am married to my soulmate Matthew with 3 children, Eloise, Robert and Jamie. I live in London and work full time as an Accountant with a very busy day-to-day life! What started as a way to save money making my own wedding stationery in 2003 has evolved into more of a way of life than a hobby! I love photography, scrapbooking, cardmaking and altering every day items and can generally be found being creative whenever I get a spare moment! My notebook is my lifeline to this hobby where I jot down ideas, do sketches and keep memorabilia ready for my next layout. I am overjoyed to be joining the ATDML design team and look forward to sharing this wonderfully addictive hobby with you all.

**Debbie Jewell**

I am a South African now happily settled in the UK with my husband and four daughters. I discovered scrapbooking in 2004 and has been totally hooked ever since as it gives me a much needed opportunity to express myself artistically and to record the everyday moments in the lives of my girlies!

My main inspiration comes from my family and I would describe my scrapbooking style as "varied". I love bright colours and my layouts are largely influenced by the photographs I am using.

I have been published in several UK scrapbooking publications, previoulsy been a member of a two design teams, taught scrapbooking workshops at various retreats and crops, and am a regular teacher at the ATDML retreats.

**Karen Moss**

I live with my husband of 25 years, our daughter when she is not away at university (can someone tell me where all those years went) and our Golden Retriever.
For as long as I can remember I have made things.  One of my earliest memories is of my grandmother teaching me to knit when I was about 4 and after that I never looked back as we spent many happy hours together knitting and sewing clothes for my Sindy doll.
My degree is an art based one and most days I spend time creating something, even if it is only for 10 minutes before the rest of my family get up.
I was introduced to scrapbooking by my best friend and from then on all other crafts fell by the wayside. In 2009 I was lucky enough to be a runner up in the Scrapbooker of the Year competition.

**Katherine Sutton**

My name is Katherine Sutton and I am married with two beautiful and energetic boys, the feature of many of my scrapbook pages.

I stumbled upon scrapbooking in 2006 when my mother-in-law bought me a kit, and I fell in love with it instantly.  I love creating with paper, trying new techniques, making my own embellishments, mixing and matching colour and pattern,  that combined with capturing precious moment in my family’s life makes it even more enjoyable for me.

One of my pleasures is seeing my kids and friends look through my albums and enjoy and reminisce about the moments in the pages.

**Mel Hand**

My name is Mel Hand. I am married to Darren and we have two daughters; Isabelle and Olivia who are the subjects of nearly all my scrapping.

In 2004 I discovered scrapbooking while trawling the internet planning a trip to Florida. On a message board someone had a Seaworld layout in their signature which linked to UKS and I clicked on the link and thought it would be fun to make a quick scrapbook of our holiday!... That scrapbook still isn't finished!

The following year, 6 months pregnant with our first baby and thoroughly hooked on scrapbooking I teamed up with my Mum, Jill, and we launched A Trip Down Memory Lane. In April 2015 we celebrated 10 years in business and we still enjoy running the shop. It is hard work but worth it when all those lovely new products get delivered. In November 2007 this time 7 months pregnant (can you see a pattern here - I like to take on new projects when heavily pregnant!) we held our first retreat. Spring 2015 was our Sixteenth retreat and we still enjoy holding them!
